Commander W. Lawrence Tremayne, enigmatically referred to as just Tremayne, is the imediate superior to The Champions.
Biography[]
Following a spell in the Royal Navy, Tremayne gained recognition for undercover work in MI6, causing his eventual choice as overall controller of Nemesis. Crotchety and short tempered, he is easily aggravated whenever Craig and Richard insist on having the final word. Tremayne obviously holds affection for his star agents, though rarely shows any emotion. Regarding their tremendous success rate and good fortune at solving countless potentially disastrous situations, he is seen to harbour certain suspicions and occasionally asks probing questions, which Craig, Sharron and Richard unconvincingly answer.[2]
